Salute to the soldiers and our fathers who fought
For the future of our past
Living us with something to hold on to
Our Freedom

We celebrate with a mixture of laughter and tears
Not forgetting our hero’s who protected our future
For dreams and aspirations fulfilled and those dreams that never got fulfilled
Tough now the present
On this day, we remember our roots and what we stand for
Your advice against corruption and greed our compass stirring us back to morality
Reminding us of the dreams we have, the goals we share and the future we desire

Sometimes I wonder how bad it would get before the good is born
I see our minds torn
As thoughts echoes in hopes of the future
Recovery is sure from this disease of corruption and greed
One thing is certain
The gates of hell not prevailing
I see the future in our descendants
Building what we could not build
Viewing what we did not see
Restoring our broken ego and returning our lost honor

Holding high our hope, showing the faith in our descendants
Our biggest asset, the future of our tomorrow
With faith and unity we fly our ever colorful flag
Ever beautiful, full of pride in peace, unity and progress
We work positively in line with our fertility and certainty of our purity
The light of our future shines bright
Like the smile of God up us.

We live in an age where story books excite us like movies, unlike back in the days when our fathers were more into vanguards, newspaper or journals. Story books seems to be the most read amongst journals. In this age, growing youths wouldn't want to read the magazine, newspaper, listen to news, find news, read articles, study books that will improve and broadening their thinking, they did rather read story books. Story books are for entertainment, they make you excited and inquisitive, you just can't wait to know more. Story books entail happenings of the past and even the present that we may have heard but a little twisted. PLUCKING SWEET FRUIT FROM THE BITTER TREE OF HEARTBREAK

For no cogent reasons you have been jilted by the one who has promised to love you forever. You just realize that the guy that has promised to walk you down the matrimonial aisle has turned to be a player and a heartbreaker. You have been used,shortchanged and dumped by the love of your life. If i tell you that it doesn't hurt i am lying to you. Consider me a big liar if i tell you you wont be destabilize after this severe heartbreak. The truth is, it hurts, it drains your strength completely. No word in human speech can possibly describe how pained you will be. But its okay... Its okay to soak you pillow in tears. While its okay to feel pains, its NOT okay to stalk him, it's not okay to monitor his life in the internet, it is NOT okay to fight for a place in his heart, it's NOT okay to keep calling or texting him. Calling for closure won't even help it will only increase the pains. This is the time to close every door connecting to him....
